Ever since I took my first safari trip with my family back when I was five years old, I’ve felt a deep connection to Africa and the African bush.
I stepped into the tourism world at a young age and was very lucky to travel to African countries whilst working for an African tour operator in Switzerland. After eight years I was offered a position as a travel agent in Cape Town and jumped at the opportunity.
Through my years of experience in Africa and within the tourism industry, I’ve gained a unique perspective on how the industry works and what exactly clients are looking for. I realized that African tourism is not as progressed as other destinations when it comes to digital marketing.
That’s why I decided to seek a new adventure, educated myself into Social Media Marketing and founded Social On Safari with the dream to help safari camps/lodges, operators and travel agencies to share the beauty of this continent with the rest of the world.
